All of the above looks & sounds like Cunt Central to me.

This sort of chav thread would never have been posted in the old days. This site, etc.

Went to a cruise in Sarf End once.

Last time there was that many pricks in one place was the Daily Mail office Christmas party.

I used to dragged along to this and that with with some chavvy mates who I left behind when I escaped south.  Didn't really think of cruising at all till I saw a sign near Cannock the other week saying that it was banned by the high court etc.

Has it not moved on to slamming and detailing now? ie, fucking the car up and cleaning it.

No idea what people expect when the subject of cruises comes up on Autoshite. It is mainly modern cars that go. I used to go to a lot of meets but 'the inevitable' happens in the end. In the main, car people are self-righteous thundercunts, with the exception of here of course.

Even my Corsa b is too old for cruises now as theyve all but dried up on that scene.

That's even more of a reason to take it to a cruise

The block yards/TVTE/Spillers/Seat Carew/NICO/Arnison etc days are long gone.

If they are still standing, they all have barriers, now lol.

When I was in my late teens I had a series 2a Land Rover with a 3.5 V8 in it, a couple of friends had a 205 GTi with a Mi16 lump and a real chavved up 306 turbo diesel. We went to Guildford cruise a few times and it was a good laugh, everyone looking round to see what the noise was (it had a straight through exhaust with a cherry bomb silencer). The best bit was that it would backfire like a cannon... boot full of throttle, flick the ignition off-and-on and BOOOM... oh how we laughed

Old skool. :-)

Known in cruising circles as a 'key back'. Commonly sported by Vauxhall Nova's.

To add to my original post, it is like IainL says, full of modern crap, my Mrs' younger sister used to go out with a boy who got a brand new Fiesta on the drip, a "GTR" dealer special from Evans Halshaw with black aftermarket alloys, the Zetec S spoiler and skirt kit and added LED DRLs a subwoofer, Euro style deep dish alloys and this craze of hanging a McDonalds smurf toy from a happy meal from the rear towing eye. This is what most are.

Back when I was into it, people had a bit more individuality and even if it wasn't to other peoples tastes at least the car was different, and there were older cars too, now they are all sub 5 year old cars on the drip or PCP to try and impress other people, back then I had a mk3 Astra and my acquaintances had a wide variety including immaculate Corsa B SXi in Arden Blue, a Volvo S70, a Citroen ZX 3 door, mk2 5 door Clio, 106 Quicksilver, Cavalier mk3 with a redtop conversion, Arden Blue Tigra with the Irmscher catalogue thrown at it, mk1 Punto GTs, mk2/3/4 Golfs, vRS Fabias, Civic Coupes, Focus ST, Astra VXRs, Subaru's, Evos, 180SX, 200SX, Astra GSi, Glanza Vs, a huge array of cars and not 1 modified the same as the other.

I used to do the Falkirk 'circuit' back in the early 2000s and I would agree, every car was different. A lot had big bodykits made from fibreglass and even bigger wheels but it was all the rage back then. Everyone tried to be different and not in a pineapple way. I still remember some of the cars now.

Visited Strathclyde Park a few times but it was mostly idiots. Used to do Ayr Shore on a Sunday, my favourite car was my BX Meteor on 205 1.9 gti alloys. Slammed innit.

Sick cruzin yo!

Wish there would be more like this. That or Mc D's down yonder hill burns down. Sick of the noise of twats every night.

I used to do it quite a lot but lost interest in hanging around freezing car parks years ago. It still goes on to a small degree and there was an incident recently where someone lost control and hit a few bystanders. Part of it is probably that you can do so little to modern cars, even changing the stereo is almost impossible so the scene has died off to a degree

Those pictures of smoking wheels and spazzy looking Golfs and modern Fords are quite enough to cement my views on cruises.

I thought "CRUZING" was something overgroomed men with waxed chests did. I think that's preferable to what CAVCORSECRAFT describes.
