Ok , me sis has had it for 2 years , its a 51 silver 4WD 2 door coupe !( i wish). 70 k ,honda fsh till she got it , brand new mot ,no advisories.. vtec motor ..do i want it ? She doesn't want me to have it and promptly sell it , but its free otherwise . Woss they're reputation like? Steep insurance ? mpg? It's replacing (if i have it) a Seicento Sporting which i adore, but it a bit small, with 3 and a dog.

I think they look pretty good, and they're reliable too.  If it's roomy enough they're quite a nice drive.

As it is a Honda, it will be reliable. The look/style/fuel consumption etc is down to personal preference. Sorry to be so unhelpful!

Love these , the brake light on the tailgate spoiler removes retinas so dont follow one

Is this the one that looks a bit like a Talbot Rancho, or the one that looks like it's John Major's hearse?

*Edit: Googled it, it's the Talbot lookalike. Get it bought.

John Major's hearse.

John Major's hearse.

Is John Major dead then? Bet that is a surprise to him...

Looking promising then ! A bloody hearse ? Its a coupe, its got 2 (huge) doors !

Who wants a 51 Sei sporting with 12 months mot 350 quid then , in a few weeks ? Goes like stink , no rust, got an Abarth kit covering a big dent in the sill..I think its been in a ditch before i had it ! But its reliable , and i'm gunna hate parting with it..

In what way does an HR-V look like a Talbot-Matra Rancho?

I quite like them too. gayviolet.gif

In a six pints of wife beater after a 12 hour shift way.

I'd eat one of these. I loved the JOY MACHINE logo that came on the number plate light of the early ones. Always wanted to have that sticker on whatever dismal old shitter I was driving at the time. Can anyone find a picture of that?

I sold dozens of these things, they're GR8.  Watch for surface rust, but thats it.

They are great fun to smoke around in, the 4wd flavour never loses grip and is surprisingly chuckable. Watch out for wheel bearings and brake discs and don't expect much more than 30mpg.

I like them. A two door faux offroader in garish colours that looks like it was designed to be amphibious.

I find nothing to not like.

Free.

The best price for a car.

I always thought they looked like a modern Hillman Husky

My brother has one of these and I can confirm that it has been both reliable and was very surefooted on icy roads when 2WD cars were seriously struggling
