No, the buyer will be coming from Preston for that.

What gives you that idea?

my tiger has tubes in tubeless tires its quite common according to our local tyre dood when I got new tyres, I too was worried about that but he said its what you do and as long as the spoke covers inside the rim are ok it will be fine.

I want to put proper off road tyres on anyway so I'm used to tubes.

As promised some (piss poor ) pics and a better write up.

As I was collecting an old italian bike I thought that my pocket voltage tester may be a good idea!

6.45 am all bright eyed and bushy tailed ready for the train

post-17246-0-03643800-1409499419_thumb.jpg

The train journey was very pleasant and I even managed my very tight change at Birmingham new street to go to Birmingham International . It was only a 9 minute leg so I didnt even bother sitting , just stood at the end.

Off the train and waiting for the (very kind ) seller who offered me a lift to his house

post-17246-0-27979200-1409499459_thumb.jpg

Quick test ride and charging voltage check carried out and I deemed it worth the 700 quid . The seller escorted me to the nearest petrol station and back to the m42 which was nice.

On the road , seems nice enough but a little low geared (70 is 5k but it redlines at 7.5) so I settled at 60-65 to start with.

Next stop was Michaelwood services for a well needed bite to eat

Before I got more fuel I thought I would check the tyre pressures , just as well I did - 6psi all round . Handled alright though !

And heres the money shot

The eagle eyed may notice that the side stand is suffering with subsidence.

After this stop I decided that the engine was ok so settled on a 70mph cruise and its nice at that speed

Apart from nearly running out of fuel on the a30 due to a station being closed (fuel light and reserve work , thank fuck) it was

plain sailing .

One thing though , the seat is the work of the devil and im still recovering today.

I have noticed a fork seal leaking and the rear shock is a bit "tigger" but I was planning on modding those for off road use anyway so im not bothered. Engine is a peach and certainly smoother low down than the wifes 2007 yammy engined peg.
