I ve sold my house and trying to plan the move  so its time to face reality and have a hard look at the fleet   so my Peugeot has to go

Not turbo XUD  1868cc

 

5 speed 

 

ABS 

 

Power steering 

 

11 months  mot  no tax  

 

Seems to run ok  

 

CD player 

 

2 keys 

 

Passenger electric window has stopped working otherwise seems ok 

jack and wheel brace missing

Dont know much about these or what pump is what

The interior looks ok but would probably look better with a clean 

there are a few  smokers "pot holes"  on the door cards and seats  but nothing has burnt through

Also has a key operated switch to turn off the passenger airbag if you dont like them

They will take it, but they're not especially happy running on it full time in my experience.

It's basically the HDi engine without the HDi bits. I think they tend to have Lucas pumps.

It is more like an XUD than an HDi though, indirect injection, mechanical distributor pump, etc.

 

P.S. That has a POMPE BOSCH.

I can't ID the pump but it's deffo a DW8 if it's 1868cc.

 

They're 90% Lucas pumps but Bosch ones do exist.

The chap in question made positive noises, but we're a month or two ahead of schedule with this, so he can't commit just yet.

Yes the XUD9 was 1905cc but the XUD7 has a displacement of 1.8 L (1,769 cc) and the XUD11 is  2.1 12 valve N/A and Turbo

The DW8 was an upgraded XUD that replaced it in the 306 and Visa van, and was the 1.9D option in the 206 and Berlingo, meeting more stringent emission regulations etc.

 

The 2.0HDi (DW10) was a heavily modified version of both that introduced electronic CR injection and direct injection in one engine. I think it had both 8 and 16 valve versions but not sure.
