Friend of mine is looking to offload her Fiat Punto 1.2, 2006

 

The Good

 

MOT til Feb '15

Has 4 Wheels

Generally starts & stops ok

 

The Bad

 

Has intermittent electrical problems

Has a big dint in back hatchback & various scratches

 

Car is Black, 4 doors, Base Spec, Wheel Trimz etc

 

£300 

 

Car is Between Preston & Blackpool

Elec problem is it is Italian. .

Regards Electrical problems:

 

Apparently....

 

The heater is a bit iffy

EML light comes on sometimes & doesn't always catch when trying to start

One of the rear indicators doesn't always work

 

With a bit of work, could easily be back to a £1k+ car

That's really cheap. Mrs C ran a 1.2 one of these for a couple of years and other than being glacially slow they're pretty hardy and reasonably pleasant.

Bloody hell, even with 'issues' that's stupid cheap for  a Grande Punto, even if they are a bit miserable to drive compared to the first two versions as a 1.2.

That is very cheap, I spotted when you posted it t'other day, was going to give it to my eldest to learn to fix then drive, previous experience of Fiats finest involved plenty of the former
