Sudsprint Posted June 28, 2014 Posted June 28, 2014 Great story and a happy ending. Can someone please explain to me why in 1976 as a short trousered schoolboy (actually on reflection I was 14 so that might explain the bullying) I thought these SDIs were horrible, and now I love the early ones so much it hurts.
Wilko220 Posted June 28, 2014 Posted June 28, 2014 I expect the look took a bit of getting used to after the P6!People talk about the Sierra being a leap from the Cortina, but I think the P6 to SD1 beats that.
ifc63 Posted June 28, 2014 Posted June 28, 2014 Well that's great news ! Telford is so much nearer to me than Tiverton so if this sees the open market again I might be able to tick off one of my longheld BL bucket list cars. The other two are an early hardtop TR7 and an 18/22 Series Princess, preferably in the Morris or Wolseley flavour.
anonymous user Posted June 29, 2014 Posted June 29, 2014 I am the new owner of the Roewe! You may spot it, probably at a several petrol stations somewhere between Tiverton and Telford. EFA
Retro_Auto Posted June 30, 2014 Posted June 30, 2014 Now you can conduct your own 'SD1 vs Tagora' head to head test. Envious! Less envious of the pink Ka...At the moment the Pink KA is worth slightly more than EITHER of the other two (only because it has Tax & MOT)

Guest Breadvan72 Posted June 30, 2014 Posted June 30, 2014 That 2600 on eBay failed to make its reserve at just north of 2K.
EssDeeWon Posted June 30, 2014 Posted June 30, 2014 I was watching that BV, was very surprised at the £2050 RNM. One identical to that one with a V8 made £4750 about two years ago on ebay.
