Rustycarlover Posted June 4, 2014 Posted June 4, 2014 Hi all Looking for a cheap banger to use in the fields , looking to spend £150 pounds
KruJoe Posted June 4, 2014 Posted June 4, 2014 You could have a mint* T+T Cav for that, but it's probably too good for you... Where are you?Come and get this RAV4... but you'll have to weld its suspension back on. Edit - beaten to it on the Cav. HMC and brickwall 2
Pillock Posted June 4, 2014 Posted June 4, 2014 It'd be a shame to see the Cav CDi in a field! KruJoe and Cavcraft 2
CortinaDave Posted June 4, 2014 Posted June 4, 2014 The cav is sold is it not ?? It's way to good to use to rag around fields anyway

Rustycarlover Posted June 4, 2014 Author Posted June 4, 2014 Preferably after something retro ish , eg Austin maestro Peugeot 205 ford Orion etc
Cavcraft Posted June 4, 2014 Posted June 4, 2014 Are these fields oval shaped? Banger Kenny, Skoze, Pillock and 4 others 7
messerschmitt owner Posted June 4, 2014 Posted June 4, 2014 surely if its just going to get wrecked you could have some consideration and knacker some old shit, not some old shite! There is a difference, you know!!!!!! eddyramrod and Banger Kenny 2
Rustycarlover Posted June 4, 2014 Author Posted June 4, 2014 At the moment I have a fiat cinquecento with 18k original miles on it which has recently died so m after something shite new or old , don't care just gotta be cheap
Rustycarlover Posted June 4, 2014 Author Posted June 4, 2014 Just out of interest how much did u get for weigh in ?
Lankytim Posted June 4, 2014 Posted June 4, 2014 £140, but it was filled with a load of shite too.
KruJoe Posted June 4, 2014 Posted June 4, 2014 I'm in Kent , u ? Erm... North Yorkshire. Have you got any pics [?] http://autoshite.com/topic/13945-limited-use-vehicle-joes-£200-rav4/ Pics there, and now it needs a rear suspension arm mounting welding back on.
gary_davidson Posted June 4, 2014 Posted June 4, 2014 I let my wifes mk4 astra go for £100 with tax and test - 1 days test and 3 days tax and £100 was what I was offered over the bridge for it. There is no love for them so if you don't find anything on the forum then have a look for one.
Sloth in a bowl Posted June 4, 2014 Posted June 4, 2014 Go to gumtree, filter on Kent and £250 max then look at all the ads over 7 days old and see how desperate they are to sell. There seems to be a bit of choice and transport cost will be kept to a reasonable level.
Doctormop Posted June 4, 2014 Posted June 4, 2014 Have you abandoned the search for the sub 500 quid Jaguar then? Not having much luck are you.
Rustycarlover Posted June 4, 2014 Author Posted June 4, 2014 Jag is sorted , but I'm always buying more , now looking for a banger instead
Doctormop Posted June 4, 2014 Posted June 4, 2014 Do tell us more about the Jag you have sorted, Quite a leaping cat stable you have on your signature.
trigger Posted June 4, 2014 Posted June 4, 2014 Aye, photos and details on your other crod will always go down well here.
Rustycarlover Posted June 4, 2014 Author Posted June 4, 2014 I'll get w pic of them all together , I will warn you that I have an incredibly shite 4 ltr which I bought for 180 quid in february KruJoe, trigger and Cavcraft 3
RoadworkUK Posted June 5, 2014 Posted June 5, 2014 I can't believe you need to ask here when eBay is, like, omnipresent. Also, I don't quite understand how your budget is only £150. If you have your own field and seven other cars you clearly have more than £150 and if money really is that tight, surely you can save up for a while? I really don't understand.
Rustycarlover Posted June 5, 2014 Author Posted June 5, 2014 Why waste the money on a car that's not going to last
vulgalour Posted June 5, 2014 Posted June 5, 2014 Some might ask why waste the money at all... try asking at some scrapyards, some have a holding pen of stuff they've bought but hasn't been processed as scrap, that's how I got the orange Princess that I chopped up for parts. If the price of scrap is still pretty low, you might be able to get a bit of a bargain for £150 as the yard might still be making a profit from you while freeing up space to put something else in. eddyramrod and RoadworkUK 2
bub2006 Posted June 5, 2014 Posted June 5, 2014 Sorry folks i didn't read first post properly. Didn't see the field part. I would hate to see the cav in a field.
Barry Cade Posted June 5, 2014 Posted June 5, 2014 Sorry folks i didn't read first post properly. Didn't see the field part. I would hate to see the cav in a field. That's where most of them up here ended up- usually because they were so easy to steal..
