Yes it is Rotherhithe, on the corner of Albion Street and Renforth Street. The pub closed in 2002.

In 2019 it looked like this

Last September it looked like this

Yes it was squatted for a long time. It's been cleaned up a bit - eventual fate unknown.

Very beautiful Ely. Not that bit if it is even still there but the rest. Well worth a visit.

Not Ely:

Has anyone noticed the metal frame on the HA van?

Yes, I'd 'spotted' that (sorry, industry joke).

I wonder if the HA van is connected to the TV rentals, and the frame is for carrying aerial poles?

I only noticed the two Heralds. Lovely.

I think it was just finished then. It's on the Marketplace in Ely. Still there but various wrangles over what might replace it.

Unless the driver was tiny, this must have been a contender for 1911’s  heftiest runabout. It could be a Pope-Hartford Portola Roadster but I'm not sure.

it's 1966 and V. Kurunkov, a Moscow mechanic, used spare parts to create an 'aero-car' in his spare time. According to the creator, the car can accelerate to 120 km/h on land, up to 80 km/h on snow and up to 50 km/h on water.

Arresting in lilac (including the tyres), this vast Kellner-bodied Renault 45 was a concours favourite in 1926. Would a colour photo improve this, or is it best left to your imagination?
