I'd say that's 1957/8 by the Vauxhall Victor and Ford Thames.

The pub was flattened in 1961, looks a bit different today (the line of ECW bodied Bristol K's pointed me towards Bristol).

The Ambulance registration looks to be CPU500 to my eyes.

If so it was issued by Essex between July 1935 and September 1935

Strange as there only ever badged as Thames same for the Anglia versions an the bigger trader ( lorries).

Blue oval near front arch, as per contemporary car models.

Earlier Thames 400E had the triangular badge as seen on the Mk2 Consul/Zephyr/Zodiac range.
