Is it me or is the bumper twisted on the third  from front dark one with light roof on wires.

Look at gap between light & bumper & that top edge of bumper seem to be pointing down whereas one in front seems to be parallel to carriage it's on.

Looks like they're all in some kind of wrap/gaffer tape? The one in front  has a 'sad' downward twist to the end of his bumper - so some sort of chrome protection?

And I used to buy parts from them! Later they became a Land Rover dealership. Now a block of flats! My daughter lived just up the road for a few years, in a flat above a curry restaurant called "Tandoori Nights":-small world!

Pretty sure I dined in Tandoori Nights at least once!

They were Land Rover & Lancia when I first worked there (& there was still a small petrol station on the corner of the building then), by the time I went back (about 96/7) they were Land Rover only, & the petrol station had changed to a valeting area/storage. I think they moved to Bishop Stortford not long after I left.

There used to be a huge aerial photograph of the whole premises (which was 3-4 times bigger than the picture above by then), I think taken in the early 80`s, on the wall by the admin offices, I`d love to know if anyone still has it, as theres precious few pictures of it now.

There was an older guy in the parts department known as "Lurch" who had been there from the 60`s (when it was a Standard Triumph dealer) & still used his Mk1 Triumph 2000 daily, which was VERY autoshite in the 90`s, being various shades of hand painted grey, with loads of rough filler very visible around it! There was also a bright yellow Fiat 128 estate that used to always be in the pub next doors car park, which was a rarity even then, & was still in very good nick, I would like to think its still around somewhere..
