I'm trying to load Tapatalk on my mobile, but it says i haven't got room....

 

Is there an alternative that is a smaller file (or whatever the terminology is).

 

Its a Huawei with Android, and a virtually clear memory card if that helps.

Move as many applications as you can to the card.

That was pulling it from an external drive, I copy/pasted it onto my desktop, it worked from there.

HELP ME! I seem to have lost all the editing controls, no bold, italic, post link, images, quote, no little buttons at all, nada.

Click on button at top left of editor icons,this will switch you back to wysiwyg editor with icons.

It's Firefox. The problem's my end, I'm running FF in safe mode and the icons are back. I'm not sure which of my plug-ins has decided to do this but it's toast, whichever it is.

I have started using firefox esr,seems less prone to fecking about.

Yes, a few I think, I can see the ones under the addons tab but I think I should be able to see stuff like adblock (chief suspect) in the extensions but that's empty.

 

I think that's some kind of problem anyway, maybe if I can find out where they went it might help my forum issues.

Fixed. In fact I think I fixed it without realising and only just noticed. What I did was install something I knew I already had but couldn't see, then, when I could actually see it, uninstalled it again and... Suddenly everything I should've been able to see is screaming for my attention, it all needs to do something to Firefox and back they all came. No idea, I suspect something got itself corrupted and the file needed to be rewtitten. Anyway, after I sorted that out, I then turned them all off to try here, which was ok, then I turned them back on again and... still ok.

 

Ah well, just one of them things I guess. Ta for your help!

Just a follow up to my problems, in case it helps someone (probably not but you never know). It did it again just now but this time the extensions were all showing. So I turned them all off and then back on one at a time and Foxy Proxy turned out to be the culprit. If you don't know Foxy Proxy is a program which automatically switches whitelisted urls through a proxy so that you appear to be in a different country (in my case the UK). Mostly I use it to watch BBC iplayer. Recently I got sick and tired of trying to work around the BBC's attempts to stop me watching it through a proxy so I culled all the url patterns down to *bbc* so it did absolutely everything. Unfortunately, one url for autoshite contains the letters "bbc" (bbcode to be precise) and obviously it didn't like running through the proxy. Now sorted by blacklisting *bbcode* (so it doesn't go through the proxy). Here endeth the lesson.

Tbh Foxy Proxy usually works just fine and it's completely autonomous, no button clicking necessary, it's just the constantly changing myriad of urls that iplayer uses that are cocking things up.

Ah, yes, now I understand. Drop down menu by own user name in Top RHS of screen next to "sign out". Then you type in the user name you want to mute. Great. That should reduce some of the "white noise". Thanks for all the hard work.
