I'm up for it, I would love to meet more Shiters and their cars!

Can we not have 'twat it with a f@#king hammer' day?we all bring lump hammers and assist* a lucky autoshiter in fixing their recalcitrant chod..

Can I do a passenger it day?

Should be no problem, though I better check that I'm clear on that day.

And if Julian can't, I will  :)

Gaydon sounds like a good shout - accessible to many shiters, too.  Only fly in the ointment is the EU-standard 30-year age definition arbitrarily enforced by the FBHVC...

I'm planning on going to Gaydon, it will be the first proper journey I will have done in the SC100 since getting it back on the road so hopefully I can avoid having a breakdown.

Imperial War Museum, Duxford is great for a day out/meet. Huge car park and entry is cheap enough on non flying days.

Excellent exhibits there too.

There's a cafe on site, but it's a bit pricey.

A scrapyard would be my choice. Telling the car, "This is how it could have been..."!!!

Lakeland Motor Museum is hosting, for anyone up this way...

Well I'm going to the Doctor's (sadly not the one where the sun always shines on his newly polished stock) and it won't be in the A35 as the clutch has stuck again.

Back in December when Vulgalour didn't head south, a bunch of us shitters met up at a transport cafe at Wrotham, Kent.

It was thoroughly pleasant, and probably the only time ever in my life that I'm going to experience Princess body parts being transferred from a DS estate into an Allegro estate. Look:

So, Southern shitters, anyone up for doing this again (or similar) on the 27th?

I'm in.

I'll be driving a Jaguar X300 (bit borderline) from London to Brighton, then to Cheltenham. My 2CV will sadly be staying at home.

Nope. I'm borrowing it for the occasion. I've never driven an XJ more modern than an early Series III, so should be interesting.

they are very nice cars but lack a wee bit of the Jag reliability lottery that makes older ones so much fun.

I like the Series 3 but I really like the XJ40 especially with the big oblong headlights and in DD6 flavour
