Just found this gem on the web, episode one is basically a shite recovery mission. I don't get excited by American cars but it is pretty good quality.

Almost any 70s/early 80s series with street content is worth watching just for the chod.   I prefer it with the sound off and some rocking tunes on the radiogram.   Watched  the two On the Buses movies back  to back last week.   Much better use of the TV than opening up my living room the kind of gob-spatter that goes  on nowadays.

I have a blog. But you can't see it because you'll make fun of it.

There's an epsisode of Roadkill that involves A-framing a Prius with an AMC Gremlin, and it crashes  :-D

I find Jay Leno's garage pretty entertaining, not much in the way of shite but lots of interesting cars.

I think Jay Leno's web thing is brilliant, he is very restrained and when he's interviewing someone he just lets them speak.

I also like that Chris Harris as he isn't a cliche like pretty much every motoring journalist.

Mighty Car Mods is good, but the upspeaking teenage boys that present it calling each other 'seriously. Like ... dude ... REALLY?' (without any trace of irony) grates after a few minutes.

I used to listen to 'Car Talk' on NPR, but they retired last year. :( :( :( CT was brilliant.

Shameless plug for my own blog in my signature, though it pales in comparison to the likes of Roadkill - still its something to aspire to!

Leno's garage oozes shite. It was Mr Leno, who said, that all the guys, who are only into the high end stuff, aren't real car enthusiasts, and he is right.

Hammer House of Horror reruns on the Horror channel.

Utter shite, but Anthony Valentine was driving a Chrysler 200 the other night.

It was brown/vinyl roof/orange velour, then he got knifed...

or something...

I listen to Gareth Jones on Speed. That's the name of the show, not the state I'm in at the time.

It's presented by Gaz Top with sniffpetrol and a nice weirdo called Zog. They cover F1 a bit too much, but otherwise it's pretty good

If you like motorsport then Radiolemans has a weekly 2 hour show on Wednesday evenings, they also have years and years of back issue podcasts available.

The show is a bit hit and miss on content and quality (usually hit) and doesn't take itself too seriously most of the time.

They also have a surprisingly good set of regular contributors for what is going on in the endurance racing and race engineering worlds.

I download the Car Talk podcast every week. It's basically a diagnostic service for car trouble that goes out weekly on US radio (NPR). The callers tend to drive around in our type of cars, and phone in after they've been making funny noises/setting on fire/ running out of brakes for months, asking what needs fixed and, more often than not, how much it's going to cost.

A bit like an audio version of some of the threads on here.

Well worth a listen.
