scruff Posted October 13, 2015 Posted October 13, 2015 Had a good perv at this while shifting Lancias to the former BV Towers. It's nice. Steal at the price.

Guest Breadvan72 Posted October 13, 2015 Posted October 13, 2015 I did some Waxoyling and Hammeriting on this a while back, but I would suggest a bit more of both to keep it going.
scruff Posted October 13, 2015 Posted October 13, 2015 After Autoshite, Car & Classic is FTW for flogging old Solihull sheds. EssDeeWon 1

I_am_Diesel Posted October 13, 2015 Posted October 13, 2015 Good news for Land Rover owners!! You can simply use the vehicle in front* as a brake. *do not use this technique of the vehicle in front is a petrol tanker. One life live it. And all thatBad news for Land Rover owners, Roe Deer are shit as brakes, they are more likely to damage front end plastic, explode their gizzards under the inner wings resulting in your dog having an unhealthy fixation with your Solihull Bambi slayer afterwards. MarvinsMom Posted October 13, 2015 Posted October 13, 2015 i wouldn't mind been all over this like a tramp on a bag of chips. first car i ever drove(legally too, it was on a farm) at about 11or 12 year old, i couldn't hardly reach the pedals and turning the enormous steering wheel was nigh on impossible. great fun, i love these proper series landies!!!
fatharris Posted October 13, 2015 Posted October 13, 2015 Gorgeous. Don't want a 7 series, do you? Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk

I_am_Diesel Posted October 13, 2015 Posted October 13, 2015 Are there even such reptiles in England? Not sure, I didn't see it for long enough before I bounced over it. I just made an uneducated guess as it was way too big to be a Muntjack. Junkman 1

skattrd Posted October 21, 2015 Posted October 21, 2015 The sensible choice mate. It will last longer and be more reliable than a disco, so if you can keep it I would do.
Guest Breadvan72 Posted January 26, 2016 Posted January 26, 2016 ARSES Transfer box inop - can only get RWD. Oh well, MoT due soon anyway, will let the spanner dudes have a shuftie.
drum Posted January 26, 2016 Posted January 26, 2016 Selector rods will be seized where the exit the front of the casing of the transfer box. They are covered by a little 'tin hat'. Take off tin hat, spray with wd40, work them in and out with mole grips. anonymous user 1
Forty-two Posted January 26, 2016 Posted January 26, 2016 I have always wanted a series landie but they always seem to evade me. I will have one! (Shakes fist and mutters to self as no one else where I presently am cares!)

Guest Breadvan72 Posted January 27, 2016 Posted January 27, 2016 Anything that can't be fixed using WD40, hammers and mole grips ain't worth fixing, so, yay. drum, 320touring and Sigmund Fraud 3
Skizzer Posted January 27, 2016 Posted January 27, 2016 In fact, Anything that can't be fixed using WD40, hammers and mole grips ain't a leaf sprung Land Rover.
Guest Breadvan72 Posted January 27, 2016 Posted January 27, 2016 Our IT guys at work fix the main servers using WD40, hammers, and mole grips. Also swearing.
Bobthebeard Posted January 27, 2016 Posted January 27, 2016 Our IT guys at work fix the main servers using WD40, hammers, and mole grips. Also swearing. The last place I worked that actually had an IT guy didn't use any of the above. He just used to loom over your shoulder like a bearded bear whilst you showed/described the problem. After some beard stroking and lots of "hmmmms" he went back to his tiny office/cupboard and that was the last you heard of it. Maybe he used witchcraft or Google.Whatever it was it usually worked* eventually. That was in 1998 mind... anonymous user 1
