It gets worse: his "art collective" now have a bloody bus to ruin.

Eh, within 24 hours of my own grandfather's death I'd done this to his pride and joy:

Much less art involved, far more fibreglass gas meter covers.

Neither of my grandads ever let me anywhere near their cars. I'll think I'll employ the same philosophy when the time comes.

One of my grandads didn't drive, the other was in Dublin, so I got the sum of stuff-all when they went.  Mind, I was so young for the first one I actually don't remember him; for the second, I would still have been too young to drive.  But if either of them had left me a car, and I'd treated it like that Micra, I would fully expect to be haunted for the rest of my days.

Having fun?! With a CAR?! What an utter c**t, drag him outside and shoot him immediately.

Jeez, someone put hi-los, alloys and silly paint on a dull, fairly common hatch. It's hardly the end of the world, in fact it's not even the end of that car. Get a grip!

Even so I think it is a little more mental than sentimental.

Meh. At least he hasnt driven it like a twat through a quarry and wrecked it.

The write up above (wont let me hotlink)  in the advert screams "twunt" to me, but then when I was that age I was probably just as much of a twunt. We all have to go through that "twunt" stage before we mature into the rounded* individuals we are today.

I'd roll in it just for shits and giggles.

Southend on Sea, Essex.  Need I say more?

When I saw the title I thought it was going to be that you had a got wreath made in the form of a lifebelt, for the funeral of someone who had drowned.

(Sorry an old joke, possibly in poor taste)

The General Lee had 01 on it, not 10. I know it's a K10 but that makes you look like a whole different breed of fuckwit.

The world doesn't have enough Gen. Lee 'replicas'.

I know some like them, but micras to my eye are anonymous road litter, so no crime committed here. (My dislike probably stems from the micra that T-boned my mk5 cortina in 1992)

Is it not time honored tradition that vehicles passed down from father to son or indeed grandfather to grandson should then be ruined by said child.

My Dad's Accord was already ruined before I ever got my mitts on it. He'd forestalled Ratluk by around 15 years by brush-painting Hammerite below the bump-strips, and had 're-vinyled' the roof himself, apparently after inhaling deeply from the tin of glue that he used. If I'd had the presence of mind to chop the springs and bolt some TSW Hockenheims on, it could only have been improved.
