The Prairies had a 2.4-litre sidevalve four-pot which, when it was new, would have made 48 bhp.  The engine can trace its roots back to 1918.  It was just about adequate in my Novaquatre, but the Prairie is a somewhat heavier beast, and I wouldn't fancy driving it on a public road with anything on the back, however lightweight.
