Hi, sorry i've not been around much.

I thought this might appeal on here. I'm selling it 5 minutes after I bought it as is my tradition.

Looking for around the £650 mark really

Plenty T&T, goes well, fuel economy pretty amazing. had 50mpg on a run recently and last fill-up showed an average of 43.5mpg around town.

Just rolled over 83000. I've done 1200 of them in the last month!

Pretty sure he's in Essex. The chap who bought my old one hasn't posted on here in a while but did many a trip from London to Scotland in the weeks after purchase so no excuses!

I'm still around - Sold the 205 in May, but it's still trundling around central Scotland.

I sorely miss that car - 1000 mile round trips from NW London to Aberdeen were swallowed up with ease, thanks to the mighty 954cc engine and slick 4 speeder.

GLWTS!

Hey you lot - I'm in the mood to get another car this weekend, so open to offers.

I know that comments like this are no good to you without complementing intentions to purchase...

but that looks bloody great.

Still not sold, even at £500.

Shocking. It's lovely! I can play both the mileage and lack of funds cards though.

It's lovely, but sadly there's a fairly limited target audience for them, and the price, your feedback and the fact it's on 'buy it now' will put most people off. It's a cracking car and I'm not trying to have a dig at you or anything, but to the great unwashed that's a fairly unloved old car. I would suspect most people see that at £350/£400 tops, though anyone with a brain or someone who appreciates how great these cars are will think it's at least reasonably fairly priced. In my (uninvited, unwanted) opinion that wants to be sitting at about Ã‚£495 with some room for negotiation.

That's just my opinion of course, and I hope I'm wrong as it deserves to make good money.

If it's as good as it looks I think that's a perfectly fair price.
If this were nearer I'd be all over it like a bad suit, I like these wee things and I'm after a car just now but I really don't have the time or inclination to do a 400+ mile run in one, particularly at this time of year.

I know, I'm a lazy fecker with no sense of adventure but there you go.  :-(

Yeah, Cavette - the feedback is a bit of a bugger. That was the Daewoo I 'sold' for a couple of hundred and the buyer did an HPI check and found it was a CAT D  in 2007 or something. How the hell was I supposed to know!

Posted

It is a nice looking car and deserves to find a new home at that money but I think Cavette's right, my Nova was a very similar age, spec and condition and I was told by various sources that it was worth £750 all day long.  After absolutely zero interest I finally sold it on ebay with one bid at £450 and no other interest shown.  Shame really, this is nicer than a Nova and dirt cheap to run and mend.

To be honest if he's HPI'd an old Daewoo he was probably always going to be a bellend. Obviously you didn't know that, sadly it's just indicative of internet advertising I suppose.

Unless you specifically said it was hpi clear or never been in accident that is piss poor. Fair enough not going through with sale (although check before bidding) but negative feedback out of order

i like this, and could be what i need in terms of shite thats not too old to break all the time,or too new to bore me/cost me.

any more pics?

Indeed. Not really a hardship and if anything, I think the 4-speeders were tougher than the fives.
