They have had a red Ghia like that in a dealers near me for well over a year at £1250 as well, I had a pic somewhere.

Thats not so surprising. Its not OSF tax but historic motorsport tax and anyone well off enough to race a pukka old race car generally has even more money than a plasterer from Essex.

The car in the 'mural' seems to be a cut and shut featuring the front end of a Fiesta Mk1 XR2 and the back end of a Mk4 Escort. With a bit of Vauxhall Nova thrown in for good measure.
