Friday I won an ebay auction for this non MOTed Citroen GS. We used to own it a few years ago when it was running well but looking a bit scruffy. Now it looks a bit sad so when I get it home I will have to work out how to get it back on the road.

 

I did not need another project but because I have just bought an M3 BMW could not put up a defence for not buying it when my wife asked me to!

Yes GSA doors, 1299cc engine, 5 speed gearbox. Not sure on the rust untill I have seen it.

Nice purchase, I remember you mentioning your wife and how she likes shitey cars too to a level. She sounds ideal. I hope the possible_future_lady_Sterling will like old cars too. Sadly she hasnt passed her test yet. If she does, I reckon a bubble Rover 200 will be the way forward.

I had a brown GS with GSA door handles about 9 years ago ... though I don't think that was it.  Off now to check the registration...
