Those are excellent!, I forgot how much nicer photos were in pre-DSLR days.

Considering a few of those cars wouldn't have been very old back then they still looked surprisingly tatty.

Great pictures! The centre of Edinburger's not changed much.

Great spots from yesteryear!!! I loved driving around the wet cobbled streets in Edinburgh  and getting that lovely "brrrrrrrrrrrr" sound or cornering to making the tyres squeal

Technical Note: I Only had a 28mm wide angle...then a 70-210mm zoom lenses...no mid range...I got the camera body as a present in 1985...then had to work 2 weeks over Easter planting tree's to buy the lenses!

Tip top shots there, the God Squad bus is ace. We used to have a similar Bible Bus in for servicing B745JFS belonging to Blackburn Gospel hall. By 1996 it was rotten as a pear.

I love that GS/phone box/post box shot.

Yes, the GS(A) pic is great - with the colour matching and the cobble stones - it looks almost like a brochure shot

This is one of the best threads to appear on Autoshite in quite some time.

That Porsche 928 in white just looks so right. I bet you had to have some serious coin to get one of these straight out the dealership. I checked the plate and it seems like it's gone off the grid :(

Top Threading :) . Is the Traction Avant parked on Buccleuch Street? Hasn't changed a bit in the past twenty-odd years.

These are Brilliant!!!  I love the fact a drunkard made the Manta numberplate...

Also that Panda to the right has an 'Abarth Accessory' bumper that was available for the MK1.

There's a surviving MK 1 equiped with said bumper...(facebook image link so may not work)
