Those rubbish 90's after market wheel trims.

These 1990s trims were quite inoffensive for the 90s: tempraside.jpg(Tempra after I crashed it   ) My parents have a history of spending their money on useless shit. My dad bought these ghastly affairs for their damaged/repaired Astra Californ-eye-ay. :shock:8006127857_dfb9fc00b1.jpg1994 Vauxhall Astra 1.4i (60PS) California by ProgRocker77, on Flickr

Presumably it was a rear end shunt judging by the badges being in the wrong place, although the trims don't look too bad.

The mention of those shit air fresheners has got me thinking about those traffic light airfresheners with the dodgy market gold chain on them rather than elasticated like magic trees

I thought the ones I had on this transit looked pretty good, better than the scabby wheels underneath anyway.

Rover Metro

They put a 14 inch version on the boggo R8 214's. I have three sets of Rover trims to choose from, but recently I put the naffest ones on my 216 to confuse the nerds (check out my posh lights).

They'll also make me feel like a WINNAR when I go back to my swanky cross-spoke alloys.

Ha ha Bollox, I'd forgotten those Proton ones. They're well rank.

Me and Will have had literally minutes of fun sticking random cattle-grid roadkill finds on the Samara's manky steels. In this image, it's sporting the one damaged during his A-framing jack-knife adventure, and a centre cap made from the lid of a Morrison's Value furniture polish. Booya.

I just watched Britney showing how to take a cap off. Riveting stuff!

If anyone saw the IT Crowd finale, the hubcap video was scarily close to Moss's Boardgame video in both editing skills and subject matter.

That's was very watchable and well cast, but I felt the plot was rather thin.

Soz for the shite pic but when I first got my LDV it came with these bad boys fitted all-round.

Just the benefit of anyone interested in buying it off me, it doesn't have them any longer.

My old man's Proton had these in the late 90s, I nearly crashed when I saw a full set on this Fez. Almost* worth buying a Proton again for.

(His was H-reg. It wasn't saved.)

Glad you posted that! My dad had a set of those fitted to his Riva 1600SLX. They didn't improve it in any way possible.

If I had some beardy car like an MGB with wire wheels, I'd definitely have spokey dokeys on it.

or a 80s / 90s CID   bod  ...

Car full of food wrappers, tyres squealing round corners, cheap suit...yes, that's probably more like it. I don't remember ever seeing Jim Carver in a shonky old Citroen though.
