The tat thread does not really encompass much of what is considered to be "too precious" to be bangered. Im fairly confident that a Van Den Plas 4LTR ending up on the oval will draw much more anger than, say, a 1985 Sierra.

The thread was created to give those that complained the most, the opportunity to seek out those classics that are too rare, valuble, precious etc,etc,etc to end up in the wrong hands,

To wit: I have challenged them to seek said vehicles out, post them up and either demonstrate their commitment by putting their own hands in their pockets ( as opposed to sitting on them) or giving said found vehicles the oxygen of publicity in the hope that word will get out and they can be saved by somebody else.

Im not moaning. I didnt expand the original thread by umpteen pages and have fights about it.

I also didnt deviate from its original idea and then decide to argue like children that banger racers should hung by the bollocks.

This thread is a genuine opportunity to put on vehicles that could be saved from a deadly fate.

People have whinged about cars that could have been saved, ive now created a thread for them to post up exactly those kinds of cars.
