Winter Shiterland

The boat is not a Springer, but a Wilderness Beaver Trial boat made of GRP that only weights 2 tons on its trailer so it can be towed by a large 4X4 and ramp launched into a canal.

Yes by the boat is my 1987 BMW 535i SE manual E28, Black with black sports leather.

By the gate is the one car I thought everybody would get as most of the snow is off it because I am using it a lot just now. Not really for this forum as it is fairly modern but is never the less a very useful member of my fleet.

Sorry not a Trevi although I used to own a HPE. This is the winter fleet so we have got a few younger cars to use - two 1999, 1996 and a 2004. Two of the cars are really the same model in spite of the badges being different?

Sorry not a Merc 123 although I would like one as I have a couple of 114s and four 124s. Is that the silver one right by the exit or the next one up the roadside?

Been out snapping auto bilge in the snow, so in 20 years time I won't forget wheel trim less corsas or flappy bumper mondeo existed! Give it a try, hours of fun of autoshite for 2033!

2033 eBay advert: "Grey duct tape, for use as period repair for classic Mondeo bumper - 2,050 Eurocredits. No eBayers with less than 5000 feedback."

Ok I'll have a blind stab at it.

Bottom middle, second back is Volvo estate, 850-series

Bottom right, E3 BMW

Second back right, Avensis?

I know I posted on the other thread but have these again:

Cars are looking pretty much the same now with all the snow coming down now.

Strike that last one. Bumper skirty looks more like Xantia sporty job. Activa?

Out on the road: a Citroen ZX 5-door with a Discovery behind it. Flummoxed by what's behind it though.

I think the car behind the Discovery is a Saxo. On the drive behind the middle car looks like a Renault 21 or another ZX, but its mirrors suggest something else......

Now I am impressed, the second row back is indeed my Volvo 850 GLT 2.5 10V Auto estate and my Wife’s Citroen Xantia 3.0 V6 Exclusive, I think this was the hardest row.

So behind them, the silver one has hardly any snow on it and as I said before is 2004 and not really right for this forum and the other one is a variation of one of the other cars?

Over the road again I am impressed because the first car is my 1993 Citroen ZX TD Aura, next is one of the sons of my neighbour’s Discovery. The furthest away belongs to the other son but hardly has any snow on it? Clue its 2002 which is quite late for the model

Keep trying

Yes one more the Silver car by the gate is a 2004 Range Rover TD6 Vogue.

Sorry Lond Stirling the last car in the layby is a Citroen Saxo 1.4 Furio.

So just one to go which is behind the Silver Range Rover? We have already had a close answer.

Here are the answers, sort of laid out as you view them

Across the road

2004 Citroen Saxo

1996 Discovery MKI

1993 Citroen ZX TD

On Drive

2004 Range Rover Vogue TD6 Auto

1999 Volvo V70 T5 Auto

1995 Volvo 850GLT 2.5 10v Auto Estate - Citroen Xantia V6 Exclusive Auto

1987 BMW 535i SE manual – 1988 BMW 725i SE Auto – 1975 BMW 2500 Auto

Now who can guess what two cars are in the garage? (I know not a fair question but you have done so well with cars covered in snow)

Probably something like a Visa and a CX. Or a DS and an LNA

Posted

The Visa, CX and DS are stored in a barn off site for the winter and the Bonds have to live outside offsite for now until we build a new barn. Clues - There is one other Citroen related car that I have, it is the only one know to be running in the uk and has been featured on this forum. The other one is completely out of character 1994 soft top small sports car and I only bought a three weeks ago.

Snow here at last, took the Carina up over the Lomonds this morning and it JUST made it. Budget tyres and auto box don't make icy snowy hills easy.

Now the test of all tests, what’s going in the garage next? The Mazda will need to come out of the garage soon and X go in.
