F/S - 1995 Vauxhall Cavalier 2.0i GLS Auto

Hey peeps, my dad's mate is selling his Cavalier (Heather Mills special).

1995 Cavalier 2.0i GLS, in Satin Red Metallic. It's done about 108k - think it's got service history. It's been well looked after and the current guy has had it for about three years. I've been in charge of servicing it and it's just had a mini-service, including a new rocker cover gasket as it was leaking. Has got the 2.0 Ecotec engine which was only on the last of the Cav's. Taxed until April 2013 and M.o.T'd until October. Drives really nicely and auto gearbox is in good order and goes in the gears lovely. Bodywork is in really good order, some little rust scabs here and there but it's not a rot-box by any means. Only thing wrong with it is that the steering wheel is off-centre when driving. The tracking has been checked and it's spot-on, so I think the wheel itself just needs to come off and be refitted at the correct position.

Ready to sell now, and I'll be putting pictures up later on.

Price? £495 o.n.o

PM me if you're interested. Thanks :D

Wheel will be squinty bacause whoever tracked it didnt chack the wheel was dead ahead during the job, or just adjusted up one track rod to get the whole thing square.

GLWS, I have the same engine in my V**tra and it pulls the same no matter how much weight is in the car!

This sounds just like the one Bolx made minty-fresh then struggled to sell... did Billy have that one?

No, it's not that one. Will be putting pictures up on Monday :)

I did indeed have that motor and it was one of my favourite ever cars. 1200 odd miles in about 10 days of driving and it never missed a beat. Sadly this isn't the one as mine was an 8V but (as I have been said umpteen times before) the Ecotec 2.0 engines are brilliant things. I have a fetish for Vauxhalls, especially automatics, and the car advertised here will be fantastic for someone.

I always was a believer a high spec late model Cavalier was a nicer car to have than a Vectra

Same price on BIN though. I would, if small engines weren't a necessity atm.

I can't quite see how he's cutting you out by putting it on ebay and adding a link to the advert?, You can still hit the buy it now or bid on it.

I'm very good thanks,I seem to live on here most nights now - very friendly place

Nice looking Cavalier, looks too cheap really, but at that price it should find a new home pretty fast;thats less than half the price you were quoted for a seized gearbox from the local breaker !!
