Can I interest any of you chaps in my Maestro LX auto.

 

Here is the thread from when I went to collect it. I bought it as a second car for the Mrs, but we barely used it.

Bit of rust around sunroof.

MOT until december.

Exhaust blowing a little at join.

manual choke conversion.

currently on SORN

headlining sagging at rear

 

all the LX extras, electric windows, sunroof.

need it out of the way, due to house move. make me an offer.

can tax at buyers expense so you can drive it home.

In Maestros yes - which is why 1.6 Clubmans exist. Montegos had 2.0 auto as an option with both carb and EFi.

This is so tempting.... a perfect garage mate to a G-plate Croma?? Can I justify it? Nope. Can I afford it - Nope. Do i want it..... oooh yes! Mmmmmm.

 

Does it have PAS??? And no, I'm not being feeble, but I had a white 1.3LX a few years back. Was a great car apart from the slow, low geared steering, which for me, spoilt the car....

Well the two other options have failed to materialise. The first one was an ebay find that someone bought off ebay when they went to view it with a day to go. Cheers for that.

 

The second car (Volvo) was a total washout as the owner never ever got back to me and to top it all, Mrs. PBK saw the piccies of the lovely Maestro and said that it was an old fogey's car and that I had better not be thinking of getting it. No automotive happiness for me then this weekend. Her idea of a nice car is her Micra. Go figure.

Im not particularly keen on selling it to people who hae just signed up. I like selling cars on though this forum as i can avoid the great unwashed and their unreasonable demands

 

Car is in J11 M25 - addlestone. I retaxed it at the weekend , so that's extra on top.
