Nige's newest nonsense

I've no idea who you are -or what you are talking about.

If you have a genuine grievance- come out from behind your anonymous (presumably ) new 'log in' & state your problem. I would suggest PM, but trolls (if thats what you are) love publicity. Certainly I've had no PM's on file, from you to-date.

I'm not aware of all these people with a grievance; so if you can fill me in -I'd be happy to hear. If you can't (-because there arent any) -please stop being malicious.

I dont hide- from anyone. Even my log in clearly states who I am, & I'm open & honest about 'applicable' cars to this forum.

We really dont want to see pics of my burnt barn (now rebuilt) - which was torched by errant teenagers who misjudged effect. Had it been criminal -you'd have been aware of a large Court Case. My losses ran into substantive 6 figures, excluding the building itself.

Right now I'm stuck in bed, suffering with flu (- probably as a result of 5 hours in the cold waiting for the AA yesterday) so I'm kinda low; further exacerbated because this is now likely to delay a planned major back op, pencilled in (for several months) to coincide with the Xmas break - the intention being to allow me time to recuperate. So,I'm naffed right off.

If you know me; you know where to find me. This is not the place.

Sure, early & late front wings, doors, bonnets etc etc. Just sold an early grille last week -i'll see if I have another.

Got most stuff- done the twin cam route severla times, & still own several Fiat 125's.

Nigel.Bickle@fsmail.net or 01243 554272

Good luck with it

Cheers

Yes, I've a lot of stuff -all bought in the 'old days'.

Your problem is distance. I'm a damn long way from you -about as far as you can go without getting your feet wet.

To change the front end completely to early spec is difficult. The 125 grille will fit -you'll need to chrome spray your surrounds. However- you'll still have round lights- 125's have square. The early FSO grille with round lights is 'unobtainium'. I found one on Samos whilst on hols -brought it home as handluggage! Went on my old twin cam pickup.

The smaller sidelight indicator unit need the 125 wings- there is a substantial difference, despite appearances. If you're a good welder -you could shrink your existing...

Ok.Dug a pair out. NOS-unused but pattern. Never seen a new (FSO dealer) wing..

£50 -each posted, £90 the pair posted, £75 the pair ,collected.

Need a few days notice to go get them out.

My postcode Bn18 00JB

Hope that helps, Nige

So you dont know me then just answer the phone when I ring you.

You also gave me your full address and bank details, Did I just guess them?

Iain Branks in Arbroath Scotland......

Yep will be coming to see you.....

Posted

Got you. The total tosser who pissed me around constantly.

Who tried to wangle higher priced (much rarer) wings for 125 -for the lower priced easier obtainable FSO items.

Who added & subtracted at will -till my entire family were exasperated running back & forth to a barn (30 miles away).

Who thinks 6 hours is a long time to respond to an email; when you already knew I'm sick in bed.

Who has just formally defamed me & has kicked off because he's been refunded instead of supplied - because I was totally sick of you

I look forward to meeting you -you prick.

Defame me again & I will sue. No further warnings

As for this is not the place for such talk, Its the only way you will respond to me.

Ignores PMs, Emails and the phone because your a pussy thats run out of excuses to make.

There has been no refund you are just full of bullshit and the above makes no sense at all.

You may be a autoshite hero but what a chancer and a plonker you really are.

If ripping folk off is the only way you can afford to get by then I feel sorry for you.

Posted

With all due respect, would you kindly refrain from degrading the thread/forum to such levels mr "49barndoor"

Seems funny how a large number of "us" (Autoshite members) have done 'business' with Mr Bickle, yet not had any such trouble.

So to steer everything back on track, and to avoid personal details being made public, could you move it to Personal Message(s) :?:

Morning Ian, or Iain if you prefer.

Seriously barn door, Branks - whoever you are - take Nige's personal details - address and postcode - off this thread. Fucking bang out of order. As for everything else, you need to sort it out between you. Nigel isn't even well at the moment and you drag this down to personal, defamatory insults over some spares. Top man, congratulations.

I can't comment on what has \ hasn't gone on because that's between you and Nigel. What I will say is that your methods are vile.

ENOUGH ALREADY. Why did you have to derail this thread?

What a massive load of toss. I can't think of a more generous, straight-up gent than Nige. Loads of mates have had cars/ spares off him with nary a complaint, & despite his ongoing back issues he went and dug a welder out of the shed and manhandled it over to the pub for me for nothing more than a pint and a word of thanks. Top bloke all round.

Bellel looks marvelous, glad it seems fairly intact after the scaremongering from the shipping people. On the road for February?

Perhaps if one of the mods happened to stop by they might just delete the previous page of angry man nonsense.

Time to close the thread.

Let it just drop off the page please chaps. I'll come back in the Spring.

Crikey, here I am logging on for my daily 'ebay tat' chuckle time and I am confronted by this!

Quite entertaining really, although I always thought of this place as a friendly, free-love utopia.

S'pose there's even bellends in heaven...

Yow!!!! I'd love to drive one of these things as well, I have a feeling i'd love it. Where is this then? UK or further afield?

Fabulon! Is it a stroker?

Posted

OOOOFFFF..I hope Nigel has this on the road when I get there ( a couple of months ) because I nearly bought one in 1970something but sanity prevailed. I want a drive Nigel 8)

Soz I've been a bit quiet of late chaps, life took another nasty turn.

Some of you will remember my large barn fire a few years back. Its taken me till last year to get the Council approvals necessary to rebuild (to my spec) which has resulted in numerous being stored elsewhere. That barn is now completed & the second is being refurb'd to a similar standard.

A close neighbour has been keeping a dozen or so at the back of his sheds- but over the festive period he had a fire.

bensbarn003_zps5df2c036.jpg

He lost a lot whilst mine (the other side of a wall) virtually undamaged. But, it seems wrong that his 'assets' sit outside whilst mine remain dry - so I disinterred & resurrected them all to temporarily park them outside, whilst we ponder options. Now none were 'laid up' properly (- as I only expected them to be there short term) so getting a dozen dead cars started & mobile was quite a challenge.

I did it -but its totally screwed my physical rehabilitation, with my drug regime now all over the shop and I'm effectively bed bound, very short periods upright.

Add the troll -A/s wasnt high on my agenda.

But -stuff has been happening. I've decided to off-load a few duplicates (you'll have seen the 18 , 4 is just too many) and cars I've lost interest in. Looking inwardly, I think I want to concentrate on the weird & bizarre more with the more mundane 70's on cars being moved on. (So -if you've a car that interests you, get in touch).

I've provisionally bought a few, lost one, and have agreed some -but I'll not mention those here until the deal is done. But, rest assured chaps, stranger & stranger seems to be the way forward.

Nigel,

Sorry to hear the back's still giving you grief. Is the Tourist a RHD one? Rarer than a rare thing that be! The chrome looks in decent fettle & is that a front panel I see across the back seats? Would LOVE to know more thereof.....

Did you ever hear from the guy in Enfield with the RHD 311? I did try getting back to him on numerous occasions but he never returned my calls/texts.

Posted

Andrew- hi.

I know little more than the pics -but I suspect its an old lhd import that never got Uk registered .I'll guess that the engine is free, the brakes arent, the tyres are borked and that the bodyshell (although tatty & covered in moss) is solid. But- I've no idea until I (or someone) can collect it from Malvern. Owner seems to have inherited it- and wants out .Bought & paid for.

Nope, nothing on the 311- but then he didnt have my number, or I his. You're the Contact mate, so it rests with you. Right now my hands are full anyway.

You may recall I bought this

http://[/url]IMG_0372.jpg

A few months back. Only when it was fully paid for (100%) and partially paid for delivery to Calais (50%) did the 'owner' admit that there was a 'problem' -in that he did not own it, the Police were 'interested' and he had spent the money! Happy days!

Suffice to say that he has now seen the error of his ways and a certified cheque is now en route; so I've bought this

Not quite as early but closer to home & probably in better condition. Pity it was parked up with the handbrake on! Brakes are apparently locked solid.

Hmm. Wonder if you get as many chancers on leboncoin as you do on Gumtree over here? Still, that later one does look in better nick - and don't worry, I'm sure it'll be just as dismal to drive.

Liking the Wartburg - another car that's long been on my bucket list, although having now had a go in one has calmed the urge a bit - not because it was unpleasant (on the contrary in fact) but I now know what they're like to drive, which for me is half the excitement of buying a new car.

Sorry to hear about the fire and your health, here's hoping you've had your share of bad stuff for 2013 with this...

Love the old Peugeot, glad you found another one! The cars of yours I covet most are the Datsun 411s, the Bellel and the Berk, but 70s cars don't do that much for me.

Posted

Chancers everywhere Wuz. Life's a lottery. 1st class papertrail ensured the local Gendarmerie soon sorted it. Shit happens.

If the Wartie is like the Barkas- its gonna be fun. Paperworks a bit thin -but sortable (prev experience bulk importing Trabbies helps)

Michel -funnily enough both 411's are out front together -first time they've actually met! Bellel is currently brakeless (slaves off for rebuilds) and the starter has been rebuilt (awaiting collection). Interior is with a trimmer for rescusitation. Put that lot back together & we're ready to try breathing life back into it. Berkeley untouched in t'other barn.

Would just like to say that you are an inspiration mate. Much respect. Sorry to hear about your poor health... It isn't fun battling against the odds.

Huge respect, and keep the posts updated! U HAZ FANZ!

:D

Hope you're on the mend Nigel. Having a bit of a fleet clearout seems very wise. Too many cars just isn't fun - and I think that when I've only got five of them! (three is proving much nicer).

Glad to have you back on the site Nigel - sorry to hear about the, er, complexities and stuff. Hope you get back on the mend quickly.
