I'm a bit at a loss. I know this won't let me sleep tonight.

Given the Boneschi Fiat, I hazard a guess it's 1950 and there is a car show going on in Venice.

The cars in the left row are all show cars. So are the two poking their noses into the pic from the bottom.

They have strong Ghia overtones, no? The right one could well be a Ferrari 195 Inter.

The cabriolet with the two large instruments is very Pinin Farina, don't you think?

Could only find one of my home town (Gravesend, Kent) but it features the arse end of a BMC product

Damascus, as earlier.  Note the oval West German export plates on the red Opel, and covering the Seine-Maritime originals on the blue 404.

Long way from the Bundesrepublik.  And Normandy...

I'm not convinced that Pooshow wasn't nicked in the Bundesrepublik as well.

Note Bundes DIN 1451 fonts:

And the plates were proudly silver on black at the time in La Grande Republique.

Ooooh, you are right! I didn't even notice. Thanks for pointing this out.

That little coach isn't too unspiffy, too.

Wires and another DS Break in Blonville-sur-Mer. Is that woodgrained Fablon? Also note Zephyr/Zodiac

and what I believe is a '63 Dodge Dart.

Bray-Dunes with what probably is a Simca Ariane (until PShome corrects me).

The Ariane was for people who hate V8s and fins, so this could be one of the probably three ever sold.

It's merely alphabetical because the computer sorted my filenames that way.

Should have started them with the Dept No.
