They've got what I didn't take of this brown Princess left.

Also of interest:
>Mk3 Escort van with MoT patched sills
>Austin A30/5 2 door car.  Quite rotten, but has some useful bits and bobs on it.  Grille stoved in, unfortunately.
>Nissan Bluebird.  I think it was a hatch, it was in that weird pale blue colour.  Interior looked good as did most of the glass, exterior was a bit bashed about.
> Ford Granada/Scorpio (not frog-face) that may already be squished.
> Citroen AX that may already be squished.

They tend to keep the older (20+ years old) cars around for a bit before squishing them but they are a small yard.  Friendly, good prices, worth checking out.  Sorry for the lack of pictures, I didn't take any as I was too busy up to my armpits in rubbish old British car to spare any time for that.  Also, the sky was falling on me a lot and was very wet.

Went up my mates scrappy for a battery for the MG, swapped my dead one for a nice healthy one and grabbed a replacement backbox while I was there all free of charge. Saved me a good hundred quid that I think!

Couple of motors there worth showing you guys:

Decent leather clad spazmatic Chrysler Neon in Black, fairly tidy... John was at the other yard and was met with a flurry of "what's up with the....." texts as per norm. This Neon isn't yet theirs yet. It was sold by our local Alfa/ Chrysler dealership just recently demolished, John Gills Aiskew.

The 405 diesel in lovely gray I desperately wanted to pull out but its had a car on it at some point the roof is beyond saving and although I'd love to change a roof skin on a car for practice for the future I don't have the cash at the min

Finally this Seat Arosa I nearly paid £250 for myself with T&T but when I got back from town despite them agreeing on £250, "someone else had offered £300 on facebook" so I said okay in that case please sell them it and went in my house. After spending most of my £250 on bills I had a knock at the door and they offered it for the £250 we first agreed, and were disappointed to find I'd paid my bills instead. Probably for the best I never, I reckon there may have been a hundred quid to be made. It's probably available if anyone wants it.

I used to love "That scrappy by the Wallsend incinerator". Never could remember the name.

Agreed that it's nothing like it once was.

Sunderland Metals, Gossy Metals, Marshals, they're all gone. :(

^ Now there's a rare spot.

That's this one, which has been for sale for a year or two and features in the eBay Tat and Bargains threads from time to time.  Great to see it rolling, and looking tidy (well, in the dark at least).

It's now edging slowly but worryingly towards a half-way reasonable price, having come down from 6-something to £3495.

Location Northallerton, just up the road. I assumed it was from further afield, not sure why. Chap was nice, he moved his wife so I could take photos
