That's top notch that. The shonkier the better, although that Ambassador actually looks very smart. I don't have any Indian model cars, must look into that!

CityRover ness of the Indica LOL. They do seem to be the Autoshite of the diecast world

I have a bunch of modern Matchbox and Hot Wheels I want to shift. Too much faff to put on ebay so would anyone be interested if I stuck some pictures up? Mainly around 5 years old to fairly recent. No oldies, I'm afraid.

Of course we would, what are you thinking?  I know I'm looking for a Hot Wheels MR2 in vain, but it's the only mk2 MR2 model that's likely to come at a reasonable price.  It isn't old, just hard to find apparently.

Thank you :)

That was a Dinky in the early 70s.  I always wanted one/never got one...

I have a feeling that's the Renault Trafic (/Vivaro) but as for the MR2, yes, that's ideal!

Posted

Iain, the van is indeed a Norev Renault Trafic.Eddy,P.M. me your address,& I'll stick the MR2 in the post  :-)

Posted

I think I have a black one of those MR2s... need to dig all my Hot Wheels out.

Posted

You could get the mk2 MR2 in plastic kit form by Fujimi in 1/24 scale.

Posted

BTW I have a few 1/43's I'm parting with, from the Michelin collection, £3 each plus postage. Photos later, but off hand there is a Citroen ID estate, VW bay window van, and a Peugeot J series van

Posted

Now there's something I've never seen.... but anyway, I have a backlog of plastic kits to build ("one day...") so I'm better off with a little diecast.  It has more chance of getting a coat of red!

Any interest in Trainshite?

This is an old Hornby Dublo 3 rail, think they were last produced in 1964,

so this stuff is over 50 years old.

It started in the mid-'70's when Dad picked up a bit of track and an engine in a junkshop.

Over the last few years anytime a few bits turn up they were purchased, now is the time to start piecing it together.

Takes a bit of time and patience to get things running smoothly,

got a basic layout done, still to be finalised and screwed down.

Not a bad way to spend a couple of hours now and then with the old man.

Have a few crappy pics.

We should start a model trainshite thread in the off section, if we don't have one already.

There are more model railroaders on here.

Minichamps did a ph2 R19 about five years ago. Very much NLA now but you might turn one up somewhere.

Hasn't Partridge got one of those R19's?
