I had that Siku Granny too, the casting designer must have been on glue....

Lol those were once mine, I tried to give the Kadett the 'mismatched primer' look.

Picked up one of those Lootcrate Elanors from the land of Pounds today, it's a little cracker for a quid, Greenlight 1/64s aren't cheap normally either

Posted

Just the Lootcrate exclusive Gone in 60 Seconds Ford Mustang coupe from the film

In other news, one of these is on it's way to me, must be a Ramrod approved addition

Is that the partwork model?  I've been chasing those on ebay for AGES but they reliably finish over budget.

That's the James Bond DeAgostini one yep, was £10.99 on a B.I.N

Poundland has Greenlights?

Yes, the one in Glasgow that I pass had about ten. Do you want one?

Posted

Could I get one of those elanors, can PayPal you p&p etc.

Virtually every branch of Poundland has stocks of them, they must have made several thousand too many

Posted

My two year old accquired Eleanor on Saturday. He is very happy.

I've ROFL'd at some ebay sellers who have clearly been to Poundland

Posted

A whole shelf full of the Mustangs in a central Belfast branch of Poundland the other week - I was halfway to the till with an harmful before I caught myself on and put them all back.

Must. Not. Buy. 1/64. Scale.

That's awfully nice of you, but it's not Eleanor I'm after.

I was hoping they have other stuff as well.

Posted

They just had Eleanor in the last time I checked but Ill pop in on my way to work this morning and have a look.

Poundworld are in their final death throws

No Eleanors in the Poundland at Rooksley, Milton Keynes yesterday. Hardly any decent toy cars at all actually - an odd few Matchbox and Hot Wheels (old stock I guess) but everything else was cheap nasty 'Roadsterz' shit.

De Agostini/Atlas Editions partwork stuff should be plentiful very soon as they've pulled the plug on Atlas and John Ayreys seem to have bought all the leftover stock and dumped it at bargain prices.

Posted

Yeah I heard Atlas is dead in the water, will be interesting to see what Norman at Airey's has hoovered up, Atlas had the Dinky stuff, the police cars, trams, buses etc

Aren't these worth more than a 3 year old MG3 these days?
