Seen at Alton bus rally. No prices and I don't tend to carry cash, but the Scania was tempting as I got it new (or newish) many years ago. PXL_20250720_105742143.jpg.b4132237d3ed9a8999ffa6430ead1de3.jpg

This trailer was in a job-lot which means I’m able to pair it with the Merc which believe it or not was in an original unopened box!

The blade's upside down on the yellow one. It's not going to be very effective at clearing snow like that. IIRC those blades just clip around a post on the bull bar so it's an easy mistake to make.

Chrome Corvette cleaned up fairly well but some of the shiny rubbed off in the process, so I'm stripping it. I'll have to try airbrushing this with Molotow and then not touching it for a fortnight

Some finds from a few days down in Somerset, i ended up buying 4 Guy Vans off the same bloke, i think the Weetabix has had a bit of work done to it.

I'll post some more pics later.

Yep, i've got the gold one somewhere, i actually collect Tekno VW Vans but haven't found any for ages as they have become quite hard to find after Brexit, not a lot of overseas dealers come over to the big UK toy fairs now.

Split rivets, also known as bifurcated rivets, are a type of self-piercing rivet that are most often used to join softer materials such as textiles, leather, plastic, or wood.

Despite baulking at the £2.15 Morrisois now charge for Hot Wheels i had to be realistic and grab the contents of Case L, particularly as the hype levels for that Cortina are through the roof!!

There are loads in the Morrisons I went in, tempted to pick up some more.

I bought quite a few from the L case mix, starting with the Quick Chat! I'm sure most of us had the Fisher Price Chatter Telephone, as it's been around since the early 60s and is still made now, although it's been changed a bit. The Hot Wheels version has a handset that jiggles up and down as the phone rolls along too

Pedant mode engaged pre-airflow front grille etc with airflow leaf sprung rear, yes I know it's a toy not a scale model.

Want one but not paying scalper prices.

My guess is the interior, exhaust and back panel are all one piece. I suppose it's done like that to avoid tampo printing the green on the rear but it really spoils the model with that big gap between the body and back panel and the colour mismatch of the green plastic and the printed stripe.
