1:43 and being by Solido, it has a plinth and its plastic cover.

Bit on the cheap side looking at the front, but it's about right dimension and detail wise.  Painting the bumpers body colour might* make all the difference.  Correct door mirrors too.

Nice to see the authentic* wheelbearing wear giving negative camber at rear hubs.  The 'heart' rear lamp cluster nicely done.

But, the best bit of all - if anyone has ever had one of these - is the reproduction of the good old Multipla dash that made use all smile, and gave us sticky oily fingers.

That's a good price for that. I usually get £30 for those on Ebay as there are a lot of collectors of winning Le Mans cars. That is the 1934 wining Alfa Romeo 8C 2300 of Luigi Chinetti and Philippe Etancelin. Chinetti went on to import Ferraris to the US and own the North American Racing Team (NART) that raced Ferraris in the 1950s, 60s and 70s.

So that just leave the Gazella R left to get.  This completeness thing is a right bind.

I had that kit, I built the stock version in Ruby Red to match the 1963 Beetle I had at the time.

I had the same kit I built the Gasser!

I wouldn't even have known, perfectly happy with whatever in the box.

It'll be a week or two before I open them as my dad is currently in hospital following an operation so will be visiting him in the evenings until he gets out. Something to look forward to though.

Best of luck to Dad!

Found one!  Maker 'BOTOY' on this example.  But it's sitting 45 miles west of Detroit.

This is one of the CMC releases I've been eager to get, to pair with the East African Safari Beetle. It's the next release (after I get my Marcos)

Holy moley.

That's some hot Corgi action.

The tragedy is that I walked past the Brighton Toy Museum nearly every day for two years, and only ever went into the shop bit at the front once...

Mind you - I might have exploded, so there's that.
