Note that the R8, 2CV, R4, 205 and VW Bulli are not based on existing tools.

There is no picture yet of the Citroen H, but it certainly won't be the Welly one, which is too small for 1/24 anyway.

The hopes are high that it won't be a standard van.

They all require a bit of Bare Metal Foil work and I guess enhancing the interiors with a lick of paint won't go amiss either.

Nearest i can get is .xls

Gosh, quite like those 1:24s. Not inclined to begin collecting a whole 'nother scale though.

I saw the Simca P60 from that series when I was in France a couple of weeks back and they are very nice. We will probably get them here at some point but who knows when..... I'd assume the 2CV, 205 and R4 will be the same castings as those from the previous series though? Certainly look pretty similar. They were manufactured by Leo Models

One of my favorite castings is this Matchbox Transit pick-up.

Restored a few of these now.

I also like this Breakdown truck,

Hmmmm, what if you could combine the two???????

I think that works.

What to do with the Transit off cut??

Quite pleased with that :-D

Nicely done. Looks better than the Superfast A-Series breakdown truck.

The cut-down panel van basis for a breakdown truck is giving me ideas about the 1:24 Transit kit I got in the week - I remember them like that back in the day.

That code 3 MBX Transit wrecker looks the doggies danglies, wish I had those skills

They definitely are newly tooled, which also puzzles the French collectors.

When I shorten the extension to .xls it works now (didn't do earlier, so that got fixed).

Can someone please try to open the files, see whether that works?

Kits.xls

Diecast.xls

Works ok in Excel 2010, JM. I get a message that the contents don't match the extension (I guess because you renamed an xlsx file to xls) but clicking OK opens the files anyway.

Bums, wont open in open office, pah

Why did somebody else have a photo of you and your wife for sale for 20p?

Other than that, the BMC prototype and Lotus Europa are my favorites.

It was more than 20p. In fact I think I'm still paying for those pictures...

I have spotted the Mk2 Crapi Ghia by Majorette in there, had that as a kid, came with a trailer with a canoe on

I was at the folks today with the wee man and he's old enough to play with Lego now. I noticed that in the box there were large chunks of a Leyland FG truck that I built to a scale of approximately 1/18 over 20 years ago but which I thought had been broken up by my wee cousins.

As I already have the big Mini Cooper and Ferrari F40, my dad and i decided to rebuild it, alongside making robot wars robots for my son.

I remembered how it all went together and I took it home. I'm actually so happy about this LOL:

Absolutely brilliant. I'm also deeply jealous that you had that LEGO Model Team truck. Always wanted it, never got it.

Well Jealous of the Lego Thrupny bit as well. I also wanted but never got that Lego Model Team van
