That bloke who tried to take over the SV was a bit of a typical British eccentric nutter really. Sadly it all went wrong for the simple reason that no-one really wanted one. Oh, and MG told him to stop using the MG name. Then he fell out with some of his workers who decided they wanted paying and sued him.

Guy I bought my Renault Alpine from "upgraded" to one. I think he said he paid £30k for his, lovely sound. Very rare with only 60 odd being built.

My mate in the States would call an SN95 four six a 289.

Depends on the spec level. 2v in the Lincoln Towncar (I think) but some Moose Tangs have four valve heads.

 

Great engine, smooth, quiet, reliable, not bad on fuel for what they are, and easy to fix. Probably shit for drag racing, and they need more poke in the ZT 260.

 

The AC Aceca had the 4.6, and about half a dozen cats, and just about weezed it way up to 200bhp IIRC.

Yes, it often comes and goes although it hasn't moved for over a week since it snowed, It's been knocking about for a couple of years now, 2007 seems quite late as well, maybe it's one of the last made?

Horrible looking thing, utterly sh*te. Looks like they finished it off by driving down to Halfords and picking up as many "boy racer" plastic body fittings as they could carry.
