Spotted being spotted

Well that was a first...driving along the M4 this morning, the passenger in the van next to me was happily taking pics of my car on his mobile. Anyone else spotted themselves being spotted?

 

PS: I'll be keeping an eye out on various websites, just in case the pic turns up

I haven't yet caught anyone 'papping my shite' but I sometimes I am spotted spotting.

I was driving my old 1100 once through Cradley. I had stopped at some lights and there were two guys painting some metal gates.

 

The one guy saw the 1100 and called his mate over, who then got his phone and took a picture of me. It made me feel quite proud.

The 2006 Roger Albert Clark rally started from the Great Yorkshire Showground in Harrogate, so I took the Avenger. After the last car went through and knowing how bad getting out can be, I decided to take a walk along the disused railway viaduct behind the carpark to allow the traffic to clear. On the way back, I spotted the Avenger, being spotted:

I've been spotted while spotting all of these...

...which invariably has resulted in several minutes of mutual admiration (as I've usually been driving either the Capri or Granada). GR9 way to make new friends!

I was papped last year whilst driving my Kadett down the A12, two teenage girls in the back of a overtaking car were hanging out the rear window both taking a photo of me on their mobiles, I think they must have fancied me.

I've caught quite a few people snapping the Avantime. Never caught the pictures online though... it's mostly 14 year olds with their BlackBerries OMG LOOK AT THAT CAR ITS GOT NO WINDOWS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

when i was doing a delivery i saw a teenage girl take a picture of a volvo amazon, i was going to ask her if she knew about autoshite but didn't want to risk her screaming out that i was asking about a scat site

 

though i have yet to see the pic appear on any sites

Not shite, but I did get cameraphoned a couple of times driving a then-new Porsche Cayman with an old bath on the roof rack. Little did they know I also had an old loo in the front boot (fits perfectly, although for some reason they prefer to show an aluminium suitcase in the brochure).

^^^ The problem being that the Vectra appears bigger than the Avenger despite it being closer than the vectra!
