Welcome.

People need to know where you/the car :D

Does it move under it's own power?

Yes it runs fine on its own :)

And 'barefoot' i have pictures but im unsure how to upload them onto here :?

Hi Hayley, welcome along. To post pictures create an account at Photobucket then use the bottom link under each one and copy and paste on here.

Hard to say value without pictures and full description but I'd expect lots of interest as it sounds great,

Can we see pictures of you as well? :D

That's beautiful. In theory, it's worth the square root of sod all, but the mileage and condition could see it do rather well in an auction. Or it might struggle. Hard to tell! Thanks for sharing though.

Awesome, I had one of these, it did over 200000 miles in the end, fantastic car, same colour too.

Welcome! That looks like a great example of the breed; why not keep it and start a collection of vanishing and unromantic 80s family cars? You'll be amongst friends here.

Someone on here may well be interested but you'll have to tell us more - whether it's taxed and MOT'd, how long it's been standing there, what's wrong with it etc.

If you do end up putting it on eBay, give it a really good clean inside and out and get an MOT if you economically can (or at least say what it failed on). Take lots of pictures, including of the inside and underside, preferably on a sunny day and with no random stuff in the background. Find the paperwork and write a good story about its history, low miles, good condition, cherished ownership etc etc. Be upfront about any scruffy/noisy/leaky bits.

A bit like this but maybe not quite so windy - we're always moaning about how much this chap sells cars for, but he seems to be on to something:

Good luck.

That is very sweet. I can see one of the Asian Datsun posse buying that, slamming it and fitting some eightiestastic alloys as well as polishing and detailing it.

It's got to be worth 800 quid. Ebay is the very best place for this. But advertise it correctly - put the mileage in the advert heading.

I had something very similar 15 years ago - a 1984/5 Alfa Romeo Arna. These were Alfa 33 running gear (engine, gearbox, front suspension) in a Cherry body. They sold 8 of them.

No problem.

That does look a little cracker and should see a fair return if as good as it looks and taxed and MOT'd. As mentioned above plate must be worth something though I'd advise getting it valued and then letting it go with the car as it takes forever to sell private plates and you can use it as a selling point of the car.

Nice Cherry. I passed one just like that in Norwich on a couple of occasions a few weeks ago. :D

I am sure I have seen this around Stourbridge, the number plate looks familiar.

I had a blue Fiesta reg SUE219W!

If anyone wants me to take a look at it for them or picking up from the station etc then let me know?!!

Looks a tidy car, same colour as the B11 Sunny I had. These are practically worthless at present but getting ever more scarce. Ratdat's subtly pimped one proved that with the right mods these can actually be quite an attractive car. Being a 3-door it may have some interest to anyone wanting a good shell for a Turbo restoration too.

I have to say that £700 is a bit optimistic I think, these are caught between a rock and a hard place just now - too old for a lot of people to consider as a daily unless it's a couple of hundred quid and too new/boring to be of interest to enthusiasts. It's a shame because they will become extinct soon due to that. They drive really nicely and I think being pretty light are slightly more nipy than the Sunny. Beware though as this engine has a K-series rivalling appetite for head gaskets as I found to my cost....

That quote sounds like you wouldn't mind taking the ladies Cherry!

Why don't you make her an offer?
