Anyone figured what causes the bloody irritating glovebox rattle on a k11? we put some foam behind the glovebox which removes the noise but it always comes back.
If I can't find a solution here, my last recourse is to get some memory foam which wont stay indented after being compressed for long, and see if that sorts it :/
Could always just tape it up lol. Speaking of K11’s. My air vents would make this awful rattle as if something was stuck in them. Turns out that a wrapper from a chocolate bar had worked its way out of the glovebox and into the fan...

Put this on eBay with the words, “bargain find”, in the title and you’ll have people crawling over it!

I’ve wheeled and dealed a bit and got lucky. I don’t keep any more than one car at a time. I am however seeking more pleasure from driving rather than just have a commuting bus. I’ve pretty much exclusively owned Japanese cars all my life and if I could get a decent 1.4 Nissan micra k11 or one of those green Mazda 2,s I use to have (had to sell it to pay rent due to a job loss, regret it).

I've been offered an R8 front end in Shropshire but need to transport it. Anyone have a large hatch/wagon Old Man and I can day insure to go get it? Or an extra pair of hands perhaps?
Location Manchester as ever.
My Mitsubishi Lancer Estate is available over the weekend if you want it.

He even says "No reasonable offer refused"
Jeez. If you can DIY some discs and pads you're probably off and running for a year!
Even if it does suffer a complete meltdown. The initial cost of the car could be recouped in parts and scrap value.

What do I win?
I should never have seen this. It has to be worth a punt purely for the comedic factor and maybe a collection caper.

Has anyone got a parcel shelf for a 2006 Mitsubishi Lancer estate?

I think my the average age of my cars would all be around 11 years. The oldest age difference was 16 years. My current daily is double yellers old Lancer estate which is probably the best car I have had.

Honda Jazz is particularly good even a post 99/2000 Nissan Almera would do the job. I have got double yellers old Mitsubishi Lancer estate and it is more than capable of hauling stuff around.

What a dickhead. Maybe I'm getting old, but that is really stupid to me.
That’s not even remotely cool. It’s just an accident waiting to happen

Roffle would definitely be goer on this... 2 or 3 quid a roffle and id be up for it.

Somebody else can have my ticket for this, free of charge.
First come first served.
I'll have it if it doesn't get snapped up.

You might as well just run a quote through the comparison sites and see what comes up. So you really want to get shut of such a good car as that Lancer to buy a heap of shit 1.3? Because that's all what selling the Lancer will allow you to afford.
On average insurance companies are quoting me around £1000. It seems steep but I’ll need to double check tonight.

It’s that time of the year again and low and behold my insurance company have decided to bump my insurance up by at least 50%. Several factors are going against me, under the age of 25, with a car that’s in a relatively high insurance group and the fact I’ve got 3 points on my licence.
Considering just getting a cheap 1.0 - 1.3 car as insurance quotes are so much more cheaper.
Any suggestions for people who have got points on their license and what insurance companies will offer decent quotes.

Would this roffle for £3.50 per ticket or 3 for £10? If it helps* I found a can of Ford silver spray in the ST170 earlier and attempted to go over the primer covered bits of the Micra. The result was as good as you'd expect.
I’d definitely be interested in a roffle.

I’m trying to get my hands on a 1.4 if I could get my hands on one.

I wish I was making this up:
'Is it still available'
'I can pick up in the morning'
Yes, still available
'Is there anything wrong with it?'
(Ignored that)
'??'
?
'Anything wrong with car or all ok'
Did you read the advert?
'Fuck off'
Jog on you prick.
