April 29th mot
Jizz mobile for £200. Noisy thrust bearing according to the ad, for £200 and 2 and a bit months motoring its not bad, bridge it and get most of the initial outlay back.

I'd definitely have a roffle on this. I'd imagine something like this would shift in no time on a roffle. I had a 2008 one, rear axle had to be done on it. Not a bad car in all honesty.

Think I might be up for this one this year. Unemployed at the moment, but hopefully new job should be forthcoming this week with agency. I will make a point of putting the dates in the calendar.

Bugger. Gutted to have missed out on this.

It will be for sale at some point but it will be a month or two at least.
Plus I'm afraid it will now be way more than the £200 as it's cost me a few Bob to put it through.
But man maths means I'll end up advertising it at £700 and take £199 for it but justify it by retaining the stereo and the fact it would have cost me more in taxis or something.
As true autoshiters do.
Seems fair to be honest. You need to recoup some of the money you put into it. Will definitely be interested in it nearer the time.

Hopefully it goes through the MOT alright. Keep us updated. If I don't win the roffle for the focus (more than likely, given that I've only bought one ticket) I may be interested if it was still for sale.

Would make a perfect first car for a family member of mine and can surprise them with it as a late xmas present

Surely there must be a shitter on here who could save this?

I know it’s maybe not the right thread to post this in. Need a reasonably cheap diesel don’t mind travelling a bit for it.

They do 40mpg easily and petrol is currently 50p a gallon cheaper than diesel.
I’ve got a sizeable commute each week and the return of running a diesel is far cheaper for me overall.

If this had been the diesel version I would have been waving notes at my screen and coming for this.

I can vouch for this car as Sri05 bought it from myself. Great car, dependable, reliable etc. Get it bought!

What were they thinking. I am not sure if the wonky registration plate was deliberate.

You won't find a diesel in running condition for much cheaper. I've been looking at the arse end of the market for some running examples and you don't get much for more than £1000 so this is a mega bargain even if it does need some money put in to.
Small car petrol only £2000 to £3000. Advice!!!!

For me for it would definitely be something Japanese. Swift, Mazda 2 or Yaris
