Shite at Battlesbridge

Just a few pictures, anyone who has any more is welcome to add to this thread (Trigger?)

It's strange, Battlesbridge. Predictably there were frickin' loads of OMG OSF Old Skool Fordz and flashy yanks, also loads of MG's and Triumphs. But there was also some quality shite to be found lurking.

For example, these POS

were next to these

Thank you kindly sir! Buick Regal Landau Coupe, about 1977, and therefore an ancestor of the 1980 Century I had. Plush as a brothel!*

*Not that I'm in any position to make such a comparison of course, oh no...

GR8 show wasn't Dicky, I see you got that Maestro coming into the show in that Red Oxide P5 photo, i also saw it arrive but i was just up the field a bit more, The blue and red 2CV is owned by a bit of a weirdo, He was doing tongues with our dog last year and he ran of with a 2CV wiring loom i was trying to sell him.

The chap with the Rover 800 is Geoff Philips, he owns that custom yellow Ford Capri that isn't a Capri, He's not had that Rover long, It's a low mileage one he bought from up north, His last one he had from new died so it's it's replacement.

I've got about 150 photos to upload which I'll add in a few days.

'Twas indeed a GR88 show.

You've got such a way with words sometimes Trig! Don't know many others who can paint such vivid pictures in a single sentence - keep it up!

WOW!!!! Looks a bit like my old and very missed Rover 827si:

Trig - Do you know the bloke? I'd be most interested in the car if he ever decides to sell. I'm kind of looking at making a replica of my old car.

LS - I've known Geoff a long while, runs a garage in Colchester. I doubt he'll sell the 827 though, he keeps his cars for years and has only just bought this one as it was the twin of his last one.

What motors are you planning to offload Dicky?

That Minx did indeed look like value, it would make a nice useable classic to use as a daily.
