Well that's an oddball. Registered 1994 but first registered with DVLA 2009. Mexican production ran to 2003 so yes a '94 would be a Mexibug. There were Brazilian ones from 1959 until 1986 - but bizarrely again from 1992 to 1996! However the Brazilian cars have an odd mix of pre 1965 side windows with other parts introduced decades later, that isn't one of those.

yeah that looks like an import to me, the June 1994 date will be the date it was first registered in whichever country it was last imported from
