An enormous thank you

A little sad story but it’s more of a thank you to @Billy - Medhurst and generally to all at Autoshite. 
 

On Sunday before last I purchased a fine 2008 Honda Civic from the above chap for a bargain £500. I drove it straight back from Leicester to Essex with no issues whatsoever. If anything it outperformed even my highest expectations.  It was advertised absolutely perfectly, almost certainly undersold like all the cars I’ve bought off here. 
 

I drove it to work Monday morning without ever lifting the bonnet, so tight was my time between shifts and my usual slapdash car purchasing habits/excitement. 
 

That morning my mother called me to say my very disabled 75yo father was going into hospital and wouldn’t be coming home. 
I’ve hopped into the Civic and driven home from Central London to Essex to pick up very vital supplies and then once the tank was filled I’ve immediately driven down to Devon safely but with haste. The Civic getting me there with zero fuss. Sadly my father passed away shortly after but I was there to say goodbye. 
 

This isn’t a post for condolences or any of those messages, just an appreciation of all of us on here who sell honest cars to one another at good prices. You never know when you may need to put your trust in another member selling you a decent car, honestly appraised. Keep it up Ladies and Gents and always tell your parents you love them whilst you can. X

Yes,Billy is one of the good guys.We bought a Civic off him last year with a declared fault.Turned out to be a good buy and is giving good service to someone else now.
