Shite in cutaway

I've stumbled across these on the 'net and thought they might be worth posting on here.

NB: images aren't really that small, they're thumbnails. Click on them to get the bigger (too big for inclusion on here) pictures to come up. Click on them again once Image Shack's opened up and you'll get a virtually full screen image.

Tagora, obviously. Well, that had to be first, didn't it?

Great stuff. We had a thread on black and white ones a while ago, so these colour ones will complement them very well. Thanks for these.

Nearest I could find is this - a late '80s Galant in rally flavour. Hope that scratches your Mitsubishi itch.

As the above isn't particularly shite, have an Innocenti Regent (AKA Austin Allegro) as well:

No, afraid not. The nearest I could find is this MK II:

I found an early Sierra though:

And a slightly later 4x4 estate version:

And a Fiesta MkI:

I've got the original cutaway artwork that was done for 'Autocar' magazine for the Fiat 131 to accompany their roadtest article in October 1974.

It was done by Chris Plant and is a watercolour painting. It's stored behind a wardrobe in cardboard packaging at the moment. I need to get round to getting a proper frame made up for it. It needs to be on a wall.

I got it off E-bay when it had just started. Judging by the stickers on the back it had been through a few auction houses in the past.

Bloody hell. It's outrageous that owning something of THAT QUALITY and obvious intrinsic historical value hasn't enabled you to retire to Barbados with riches beyond your wildest dreams.

What a mega thing to own.

I went to the Lonon Auction house (southerbys?) that flogged off the Autocar collection, alas I was pleading poverty at the time. A shame because there was some wonderfull stuff there, and the less obvious stuff went for not much

Thread resurrection alert!

I've recently found this site. It's in Russian, but as we're only likely to visit to look at pictures I don't suppose that matters.

As a wee taster of the delights on offer there:

There's a cutaway Mini like that in the Science Museum.

Also, those illustrations marked '© Terry Davey' were done for HBOLs, I think.
