+1 on the Demio, though an earlier one for preference

 

+1 on the Kia Soul too, particularly in Autoshite racing beige. The first Korean car to look like it has character?

Quite a few at the moment; I know I shouldn't really because they're new and will be dull, but the Hyundai i30 and Kia Cee'd just do something right... the Qashqai, much as it has a stupid name, also works. My aunt's just bought a 500 in a really, hugely terrible shade of blue which has kinda put me off them, but I wouldn't kick an Abarth out of bed. Going slightly further back, I actually quite like the pre-facelift Mk2 Hyundai Accent MVi and would quite happily at least give one a try... there are probably more.

Modern(ish) - Kia Picante. A lass gave me a lift in one a while ago and I was pleasantly surprised, I expected a right shitbox but it was quiet, nippy and a lot more fun than it had a right to be.

 

Also agree. For the type of motoring I tend to do, owning a Panda or a Picanto would make more sense than the 2.2 Nissan I am currently smoking around in.
