HOW RUDE.

I AM LITERALLY THROWING MY TOYS OUT OF MY PRAM AND SPITTING MY DUMMY OUT AS I TYPE.

AND I AM TAKING MY BALL HOME AND WILL NOT COME OUT TO PLAY WITH YOU ROUGH BOYS AGAIN.

I think they're just building up to suggesting the ultimate car choice for her. After all no self respecting young lady would not want to be seen in a funky white Vauxhall Corsa automatic.

We had rear seatbelts in our Allegro when I was kid. If it will act as an incentive to keep it, I've got a pair of 80s/90s rear seatbelts in their boxes you can have for the price of postage.

I won't need them - I don't intend on introducing little Mashes into the world!

As Tim said rear seat belts are quite easy, the inertia reel ones aren't too bad on the rear shelf with some bracing.

That said if you are set on getting rid that Sabb 900 that is for sale on here should have enough Sweedish Safety for any young 'en.

Thanks Mash, I'll bear it in mind.

Good times.

Looks tidy. I've just bought a 1500 series 2 in pretty much the same sort of condition as yours, although my interior is a bit tatty, and paid £450 for it. With yours being a series 1 it should easily be worth around £650. Good Luck!

Just got an MOT on it, advisories on corrosion on rear brake pipes and slight play in rear wheel bearings.

That has to be the holy grail of autoshite- allegro still with the quartic wheel.

I really like that, easily worth what you're asking

Well I've sold the beast! (Pending collection/exchange of cash, but the buyer sounds genuine).

All being well it'll soon be living with a full on BL perv*. I had a sneaky peek through his feedback and found some pretty interesting bits and bobs...

so when he phoned one of my first questions was "do you actually have an AUSTIN 3 LITRE??!!!???!!!"

He's got all kinds of stuff, I think a 1300, some landcrabs etc but TBH I glazed over with OMGness when he confirmed the presence of the 3 litre.

*I did ask and he does read AS so I hope he won't mind being called a BL-perv.

Happy days.

Nice one Louise, hopefully he'll sign up on here too. It'd be class to here about his 3-litre and see some pictures etc.

I did try to encourage him, honest!

Just Matt's Golf to get rid of and then we'll have a go as a one car family. If that doesn't work out I'll be back whining about my Pug 205 or Mk1 Corsa or if I had my way, my Axiam.

Don't s'pose he also wants a nice 1985 Austin Mini? Issigonis and all that.

Glad you've got a sale though Louise. Bring on the Aixam!
