Yo Outlaw! Billericay's favourite Avenger has surfaced! I took this about 10 years ago, I know the owner replaced it with a red facelift Sierra, and I still see that about. If anyone knows the current keeper I have a few snaps too.

I snapped that one a while back parked down that little link road, by Billericay Kitchens, theres a garage there too.... can't remember the name of the street, but you know where i mean... opposite the pub, that's shut....looked pretty good today.

Chappel street, and Wallinghurst garage (Ex Renault) is the place, the pub is the Coach & Horses good food, but an octogenarian drinking crew. Wallinghurst are very fair on MOT's my local choice AND they still have a Renault supplied grey leather office chair that's A) knackered and B) looks like it's out a 25 Barracca!

Or you might mean Sun street and the Rising Sun!

Sun Street, the Rising Sun - don't know if it's still closed, not worked CM11/12 for a while, but yeah, thats the place.

My mates steam engines were opposite the big yellow Scammell. Next to the big whirly 'aeroplane'fairground ride thing.

The two tone green Austin with the partial Austin trailer goes to the Pageant year in, year out. Nice tidy thing :)

There was a neat Ford pick up truck, straight six engine and 'shelves' on the door panel that you could rest a cold one on. I liked it.

The more I look at it the more I want it.

Next best thing, I'll be back in DA HOOD Wednesday and I'll put a note on it directing the owner in this direction. And Eddies page on BBC OBVS>

^^^^^Well I am obviously not of a certain age coz I have no flipping idea.

My guess is a Gene Roddenbery style sci fi vehicle from films such as Genesis 2 or Planet Earth but my Google fu is rubbish.

Posted

Scifi is right, but the continent is wrong.  It's one of maybe two or three used in Gerry Anderson's UFO in 1970.

Something like that, I took a photo of the description sheet but it's unreadable.

From Captain scarlet and the Mysterons I think, Whatever it's from I had the toy version, brilliant.

The replica Ferrari 250 is lovely but I believe those Italian chaps can get the knickers in quite a flap  over the loss of the intellectual designs etc.
