Chinatown London 唐人街 1984 003 Lee Ho Fook Chinese Restaurant on Macclesfield Street

Quote

Lee Ho Fook was a Chinese restaurant located in Chinatown, London.  It became the first Chinese restaurant in the United Kingdom to be awarded a Michelin Star. The restaurant was referenced in the lyrics of 1978 song "Werewolves of London" by Warren Zevon

I actually went there in the 1980s with family. Decent place, if a bit cramped. Much more cramped were the kitchens in the basement - it was like stepping into the Victorian era. The heat was quite something.
