"Right Robin, you follow along in the Humber. Let's hope it doesn't break down".

"Batman, it keeps cutting out".

- "Ahh fuck, just leave it there for now. Let's just hope no-one tries to start it later and steals it".

That afternoon Teh Humber goes missing. Nowhere to be seen.

"Holy Bastardin Fuck" said Robin. "Who can we call?".

- "Dohh!!! Never mind Robin, it'll turn up" said Batman.

Sure enough, next day, a RIDDLE . . . . .

"It flowed down the road and now it's gone,

It's all mine now and it weights two tons".

"What do you think this means Batman?".

- "Gawd knows Robin, probably just some lunatic. Come on, - to The Bakers, for pies".

But, on the way, events do not go as planned. Lo and behold, who do they almost run over crossing the road . . . .

. . . . to be continued, another day, maybe, or maybe not . . . .

Cue end credits.

You'd be forever pulling your Y fronts out your arse crack if you drove that.

^ All your camping stuff and provisions would roll / slide to the lowest point into a jumbled heap. Sleep in the back? Hmmm.

I've often wondered what these things were like to drive and how the steering felt. I think you'd need to accelerate or brake in a straight line only. The front suspension and the steering geometry, bushes, etc, are all trying to work at the wrong angles.

This V8 one looks like the sort of Revell scale models I used to mix and match parts with, probably around the same time.

King cabs, new fangled rubbish. They'll never catch on.

Were these for real or were they just full of fake switches and dials? I can't work out how they could operate.
