I wonder what this van was based on?

It was based on an Austin FG700 as far as I can remember. They definitely had the 6cylinder engine in them

It's a BMC VA, designed specifically for British Road Services, later Roadline.

That looks like a Devon reg on the Anglia so I wonder if it’s a pic from the County, I’d happily live in that Bungalow just as it looks back then with those lovely sun shades, with the Anglia in the drive….
