Looks more like a 142 with the roof from a BMW E36.

Somewhere I had a period road test of those. It points out that although they were sold as 'everything is electric' you still need to open the bonnet manually.

In both of those pictures I notice the road's wet. The one & only time I've driven a Beetle it was raining too. Snap oversteer at 20mph............shocking cars!
