It's a PC Vauxhall from the late 60s, probably a Cresta but not 100% sure. Could be Velox.

Note big expensive BMW amongst the scrap ones if you zoom in.

 

That gives me a good excuse to look at Vauxpedia site later

You're right, it definitely does look different, I didn't look very closely at the front. Maybe a Holden of some sort. Interesting one.

Raises the question - why buy a Holden in the UK when the PC Vauxhalls were available. Maybe a V8 !!

That stunt car is a very rare single headlamp PC Cresta, missing quarterlights give it a Holden-esque appearance.   One of Spottedlaurel's threads alluded to these recently and co-incidentally there has been one in the Ebay Tat thread this week.   Like buses....

Yep I worked out the picture was from the UK, still not convinced about the flying one's ID though. All sorts of oddball stuff has ended up stunted/banger raced over the years.

 

*edit* OK I bow to your superior knowledge, black-looking bumpers also threw me for a while.
